Thou shalt eat； but not be satisfied； and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee； and thou shalt take hold； but shalt not deliver； and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword。
6：15你必撒种，却不得收割。踹橄榄，却不得油抹身。踹葡萄，却不得酒喝。
Thou shalt sow； but thou shalt not reap； thou shalt tread the olives； but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil； and sweet wine； but shalt not drink wine。
6：16因为你守暗利的恶规，行亚哈家一切所行的，顺从他们的计谋。因此，我必使你荒凉，使你的居民令人嗤笑。你们也必担当我民的羞辱。
For the statutes of Omri are kept； and all the works of the house of Ahab； and ye walk in their counsels； that I should make thee a desolation； and the inhabitants thereof an hissing： therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people。

7：1哀哉，我（或作以色列）好像夏天的果子已被收尽，又像摘了葡萄所剩下的。没有一挂可吃的，我心羡慕初熟的无花果。
Woe is me！ for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits； as the grapegleanings of the vintage： there is no cluster to eat： my soul desired the firstripe fruit。
7：2地上虔诚人灭尽，世间没有正直人。各人埋伏，要杀人流血。都用网罗猎取弟兄。
The good man is perished out of the earth： and there is none upright among men： they all lie in wait for blood； they hunt every man his brother with a net。
7：3他们双手作恶。君王徇情面，审判官要贿赂。位分大的吐出恶意。都彼此结联行恶。
That they may do evil with both hands earnestly； the prince asketh； and the judge asketh for a reward； and the great man； he uttereth his mischievous desire： so they wrap it up。
7：4他们最好的，不过是蒺藜。最正直的，不过是荆棘篱笆。你守望者说降罚的日子已经来到。他们必扰乱不安。
The best of them is as a brier： the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge： the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation eth； now shall be their perplexity。
7：5不要倚赖邻舍。不要信靠密友。要守住你的口，不要向你怀中的妻题说。
Trust ye not in a friend； put ye not confidence in a guide： keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom。
7：6因为，儿子藐视父亲，女儿抗拒母亲，媳妇抗拒婆婆。人的仇敌，就是自己家里的人。
For the son dishonoureth the father； the daughter riseth up against her mother； the daughter in law against her mother in law； a man's enemies are the men of his own house。
7：7至于我，我要仰望耶和华，要等候那救我的神。我的神必应允我。
Therefore I will look unto the LORD； I will wait for the God of my salvation： my God will hear me。
7：8我的仇敌阿，不要向我夸耀。我虽跌倒，却要起来。我虽坐在黑暗里，耶和华却作我的光。
Rejoice not against me； O mine enemy： when I fall； I shall arise； when I sit in darkness； the LORD shall be a light unto me。
7：9我要忍受耶和华的恼怒，因我得罪了他。直等他为我辨屈，为我伸冤。他必领我到光明中，我必得见他的公义。
I will bear the indignation of the LORD； because I have sinned against him； until he plead my cause； and execute judgment for me： he will bring me forth to the light； and I shall behold his righteousness。
7：10那时我的仇敌，就是曾对我说耶和华你神在哪里的，他一看见这事就被羞愧遮盖。我必亲眼见他遭报。他必被践踏，如同街上的泥土。
Then she that is mine enemy shall see it； and shame shall cover her which said unto me； Where is the LORD thy God？ mine eyes shall behold her： now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets。
7：11以色列阿，日子必到，你的墙垣必重修。到那日，你的境界必开展（或作命令必传到远方）。
In the day that thy walls are to be built； in that day shall the decree be far removed。
7：12当那日，人必从亚述，从埃及的城邑，从埃及到大河，从这海到那海，从这山到那山，都归到你这里。
In that day also he shall e even to thee from Assyria； and from the fortified cities； and from the fortress even to the river； and from sea to sea； and from mountain to mountain。
7：13然而，这地因居民的缘故，又因他们行事的结果，必然荒凉。
Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein； for the fruit of their doings。
7：14求耶和华在迦密山的树林中，用你的杖牧放你独居的民，就是你产业的羊群。求你容他们在巴珊和基列得食物，像古时一样。
Feed thy people with thy rod； the flock of thine heritage； which dwell solitarily in the wood； in the midst of Carmel： let them feed in Bashan and Gilead； as in the days of old。
7：15耶和华说，我要把奇事显给他们看，好像出埃及地的时候一样。
According to the days of thy ing out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things。
7：16列国看见这事，就必为自己的势力惭愧。他们必用手捂口，掩耳不听。
The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might： they shall lay their hand upon their mouth； their ears shall be deaf。
7：17他们必舔土如蛇，又如土中腹行的物，战战兢兢地出他们的营寨。他们必战惧投降耶和华，也必因我们的神而惧怕。
They shall lick the dust like a serpent； they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth： they shall be afraid of the LORD our God； and shall fear because of thee。
7：18神阿，有何神像你，赦免罪孽，饶恕你产业之馀民的罪过。不永远怀怒，喜爱施恩。
Who is a God like unto thee； that pardoneth iniquity； and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage？ he retaineth not his anger for ever； because he delighteth in mercy。
7：19必再怜悯我们，将我们的罪孽踏在脚下，又将我们的一切罪投于深海。
He will turn again； he will have passion upon us； he will subdue our iniquities； and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea。
7：20你必按古时起誓应许我们列祖的话，向雅各发诚实，向亚伯拉罕施慈爱。
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob； and the mercy to Abraham； which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old。

1：1论尼尼微的默示，就是伊勒歌斯人那鸿所得的默示。
The burden of Nineveh。 The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite。
1：2耶和华是忌邪施报的神。耶和华施报大有忿怒。向他的敌人施报，向他的仇敌怀怒。
God is jealous； and the LORD revengeth； the LORD revengeth； and is furious； the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries； and he reserveth wrath for his enemies。
1：3耶和华不轻易发怒，大有能力，万不以有罪的为无罪。他乘旋风和暴风而来，云彩为他脚下的尘土。
The LORD is slow to anger； and great in power； and will not at all acquit the wicked： the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm； and the clouds are the dust of his feet。
1：4他斥责海，使海乾了，使一切江河乾涸。巴珊和迦密的树林衰残，黎巴嫩的花草也衰残了。
He rebuketh the sea； and maketh it dry； and drieth up all the rivers： Bashan languisheth； and Carmel； and the flower of Lebanon languisheth。
1：5大山因他震动，小山也都消化。大地在他面前突起，世界和住在其间的，也都如此。
The mountains quake at him； and the hills melt； and the earth is burned at his presence； yea； the world； and all that dwell therein。
1：6他发忿恨，谁能立得住呢。他发烈怒，谁能当得起呢。他的忿怒如火倾倒，磐石因他崩裂。
Who can stand before his indignation？ and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger？ his fury is poured out like fire； and the rocks are thrown down by him。
1：7耶和华本为善，在患难的日子为人的保障。并且认得那些投靠他的人。
The LORD is good； a strong hold in the day of trouble； and he knoweth them that trust in him。
1：8但他必以涨溢的洪水淹没尼尼微，又驱逐仇敌进入黑暗。
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof； and darkness shall pursue his enemies。
1：9尼尼微人哪，设何谋攻击耶和华呢。他必将你们灭绝净尽。灾难不再兴起。
What do ye imagine against the LORD？ he will make an utter end： affliction shall not rise up the second time。
1：10你们像丛杂的荆棘，像喝醉了的人，又如枯乾的碎秸全然烧灭。
For while they be folden together as thorns； and while they are drunken as drunkards； they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry。
1：11有一人从你那里出来，图谋邪恶，设恶计攻击耶和华。
There is one e out of thee； that imagineth evil against the LORD； a wicked counsellor。
1：12耶和华如此说，尼尼微虽然势力充足，人数繁多，也被剪除，归于无有。犹大阿，我虽然使你受苦，却不再使你受苦。
Thus saith the LORD； Though they be quiet； and likewise many； yet thus shall they be cut down； when he shall pass through。 Though I have afflicted thee； I will afflict thee no more。
1：13现在我必从你颈项上折断他的轭，扭开他的绳索。
For now will I break his yoke from off thee； and will burst thy bonds in sunder。
